2025 marks a Jubilee Year, a momentous Roman Catholic event celebrated every 25 years, turning Rome into a center of celebration between December 24, 2024, and December 31, 2025. As festivities unfold, itineraries may be adjusted to ensure you make the most of your time as you visit the Eternal City.
Ciao Roma! Welcome to the 'Eternal City' – once home to gods and goddesses, emperors, senators and slaves. Explore the city's bustling boulevards and labyrinthine lanes before meeting your fellow travelers and Travel Director for dinner. We depart Venice, traveling north into the picturesque Italian and Swiss Lake Districts via Como and Lugano. The city is perhaps most famous for its solid wooden Chapel Bridge and poignant Lion Monument, a memorial to Swiss Guards. Visa and Entry Requirements
- United Kingdom: Starting January 8, 2025, Canadian passport holders will need an eTA for entry or transit. A visa must be obtained prior to departure.
- Non-Canadian Passport Holders: A visa may be required for certain countries. Please email info@globaltravelca.com to request a custom visa kit.
